Turmeric Milk For Dry Cough
1 cup milk
1/2 cup of water
2 cracked cardamom pods
¼ inch fresh ginger root
1 piece cinnamon stick
¼ inch fresh turmeric root ( ground turmeric powder is also good)
3 whole black peppercorns
1 tablespoon honey
Boil all the ingredients in a pan for 5-7 minutes until frothy and warm.
If using ground ingredients, strain well.
